Current Environment 

Life flight / transport patients with cardiac issues.

A physician group or large hospital will do clinic once a month at the hospital.


All the interventions go to their hospital in an urban area.

The hospital receives zero revenue.

Unless urgent, patients tend to not go to treatment away from home:

- The patient has an increased cost in going out of town.

- The patient is worried they will never return home.

- The patient does not have the transportation / support of out of town care.

- If elective (90% of cardiology is elective) the patient tends to wait because of the hassle until it’s non elective

Rural Hospitals can’t afford the equipment and staff...

- to work 2 to 4 days a month for interventions.

- to recruit the specialized staff required to run a cardiac Cath lab.

- to recruit the specialized physician to do interventions for the Cath lab.
